Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2025

One of the five initiatives outlined by the Strategy 2025 is to implement UNSW’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP).

This plan aims to make the learning, working and teaching experience welcome and inclusive for people of all abilities. The DIAP will focus on making UNSW’s built infrastructure and digital systems accessible for both students and staff with disability.

Following the initial 2013 launch of the strategy, UNSW undertook thorough research to update and improve our DIAP. The findings drawn from this period of research were used as the foundation for the new DIAP launched in 2018. The DIAP focuses on six key areas for UNSW to increase inclusivity for people with disability.

Policy and Planning

UNSW will ensure the Disability Inclusion Action Plan is actioned and promoted across all policy areas of staff and student life.

World-Class Built Environment
