Transgender Day of Visibility

International Transgender day of Visibility is a day to celebrate transgender people their contributions to society and raise awareness for the discrimination transgender people face today.

“Trans and gender diverse students are very worried about being called their birth name and the sex. . . .From a teaching perspective, I plan to include a pronoun exercise at the beginning of a new course with my students. It’s an easy addition that continues to build a culture of awareness and inclusion at UNSW.” Current UNSW lecturer Andy Kaladelfos.
